Bio
Paul Green is a visual artist, photographer and former art director who set off from England on a bicycle one day and never came home.
Many years later, Paul is still getting lost, but these days it’s purely for the sake of exploration. His work exists in the space between lost and found, and the contrast that comes from enjoying both states.
“The only way to find out what’s at the end of the road is to go down it. If you don’t go, you don’t discover. This speaks to who I am as an artist. I have to look in all the nooks and crannies.”
His images provide a visual feast for those who seek to explore the dark and the light, the shadows and the illumination, dreams and reality.
Paul seeks out the atmospheric. He finds everything he needs to create an image using the ethereal natural filters of rain, mist, smoke or snow. His captivating images represent a love for low-fi but skilfully deliver for the digital domain.
As his journey continues, he finds himself drawn to projects with integrity.
He is most inspired when working with those who are doing good things and is increasingly activated by work in the environmental space.
In his local community, Paul is involved in environmental and sustainability initiatives on a small scale but sees the potential his work can have on a global scale.
